On Cloud 9th

We may have found an apartment! We haven't signed the lease yet, but we saw a place we LOVED on Tuesday and are just waiting to meet with the landlord again to sign. It's on 9th Street just a couple blocks in from campus, so maybe a ten minute walk to class. It's on the first floor of a duplex and has large living room and dining room areas when you first walk in, two smaller bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with lots of counter space. The best part is it's not only furnished, but we get to pick and choose from an array of furniture the landlord has accumulated over his years of leasing. He says we can just give him a list of stuff (couches, coffee table, beds, desks, dining set, etc.) and we can get it. It sounds so cool. Also there is laundry in the basement that we share with these grad students who live on the upper level. When I try to compare space-wise with that house that we liked, it's actually pretty close to the same size, just no porches. There is a little backyard we can use if we want though. Ahh I can't wait to sign the lease. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures because we expected it to suck (due to the extreme affordability), but we're hoping to be able to go back and check out any repairs that might be needed and take pictures then.

Update: Lease to be signed Sunday at 4:00! We'll also we able to see the place again and get some pictures :)
